Advantages: Small, fun & fast!

Disadvantages: Expensive to run!

I owned my Saxo VTS for about 8 years, and for the most part, it didn't let me down. I only recently had to trade in my VTS for a more spacious, cheaper to run car due to the birth of my little boy.

The Saxo VTS is stylish, small and very fast. The interior is also very stylish, but the dash fairly basic. The VTS model comes with electric front windows, electric side mirrors, sunroof and alloy wheels. The car is very fast for a 1.6l engine, being that it is so compact, and handles very well.

One of the main disadvantages of the VTS are it's running costs. The car likes it's petrol, and you will probably get around 30 miles to the gallon with it. Insurance is not cheap either for the Saxo, being a group 12, and the car has also been hit with the recent car tax increases.

I miss my Saxo, however now being a Dad, the car was just not practical. I had very little problems with the car over the 8 years I owned it, however with rising petrol and tax prices, I had little choice but to pass it on.

So in summary, the Saxo VTS is a great little car to drive, fun and fast, however it is not cheap to run.

Summary: As above .. small, fun & fst, but expensive to run!
