I recently purchased a second hand Xantia 2 litre 16 valve estate. So far ( 6 months ) I have been very pleased with its overall performance and reliabilty. It is a lovely car to drive, very smooth and responsive. Also very predictable. The clutch and gearbox are smooth and the engine powerful, capable of cruising on the autobahn at 90 all day. At speed it feels solid and safe, the wind hardly effects it and the steering remains rock solid. Inside the car there is loads of space, the estate has more room with the seats folded forward, than any other car in its class.
