We have just recently bought a Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 57 reg and we love it.

One of the main reasons for this choice of car was the price. Me and my husband wanted to get a larger car that could comfortably hold 5 adults but our budget was arounf £6000. This car fit the bill perfectly.

The xsara picasso is a very nice looking car. It has a lot of smooth lines and doesn't look too large and imposing. It is a 5 door car with a very reasonably sized boot. The model that we have has 5 seats, 2 in the front and 3 in the back - which can be removed in order to have even more space.

The car is very easy to drive and the power steering really helps. It does not feel too over sized and is still easy to manoeuvere and park. The controls are all laid out within easy reach of the driver and are easy to control. The car has a built in journey computer which tells you how many miles you have travelled, roughly how mnay miles you can travel with the fuel you have in the car, the mile per gallon consumption and the average miles per gallon consumption. You can also choose to set the computer to show the date and temperature or information about what is playing on the sterio.

The visability from the car is generally good, however the visibility out of the front of the car is sometimes restricted by the metal columns.

So far the car seems to be doing quite a few miles to the gallon and this was one of the features we looked for when buying a car because of the rising cost of fuel.

To fill the car with fuel cost us around £50 and this allowed us to travel around 300 miles.

Overall we are both very happy with the car. It is easy to drive and get used to. It seems to have enough space and features to allow us to use it for a variety of tasks.

Summary: A great car. Plenty to choose from.
