I purchased my Citroen Xsara in August of 1998. It cost me £15,950. You get a lot of standard equipment for your money; Driver's airbag, Air-conditioning, 6 CD Autochanger/Tape/Radio, Alloy Wheels, Electric windows/door mirrors. The only extra I had to pay for was metallic paint. I was a little disappointed to find that a car of this specification only offered ABS as an optional extra. Inside the car you get amazingly comfortable seats with plenty of leg and headroom. Plenty of space in the back too for the average adult. I find the clutch tricky, (my husband is always blaming it when he ...

I would NOT recommend this car to anybody, a catalogue of catastrophes has left me with a sour taste of citroen. I have had problems straight from day 1, here are just a few of the problems: 1- Car arrives with 1/2 tank of petrol. - Full tank expected. 2- Heater controls stop working. - Garage repaired fault 3 times. *Initially the knob that selects what temperature the heater is to blow at became stiff. It then became very slack and stopped controlling the temperature. It was returned to the garage and repaired the fault on three seperate occasions. I'm assured once again that it is now fixed. "touch wood!". 3- Air Bag light ...
