I bought a 1998 1.3l Lanos on 1st July for £450 so have owned it for nearly 3 months. In that time, nothing has gone wrong with it, it's decent on petrol and has good acceleration.

Crucially, if you have kids, it has rear seat childlocks - not sure if it has them at the front but they are very simple to operate - just push the switch on the inside of the door and job done!

There is a good amount of boot space so you can put your weekly shop in there or even buggies and prams etc.

The tyres make a slight noise when going around roundabouts fairly quickly - not sure if that's isolated to just my car or whether that's standard across the range, but that's minor.

The top of the windscreen is blue tinted - no idea why and not sure what benefit that has, but it doesn't put me off.

Other than that is a very nice drive and i've got no complaints with it. Recommended!
