Yes... I admit it! I drive a daewoo.

In fact I have driven daewoo ever since they started marketing in this country back in M reg times!

Let's have a look at my Nubira which is now just 3 years old. It's the 2 litre version twin cam 16 valve and for a 4 door saloon about the same size as the Mondeo, it is faster, more comfortable and cheaper to run. A BMW or Merc it certainly is not but for performance motoring on a budget it is very hard to beat, especially considering that there are NO CHARGES FOR SERVICING FOR 3 YEARS AND THE WARRANTY INCLUDES ALL PARTS AND LABOUR APART FROM TYRES. These vehicles are delivered with a high end stereo, air conditioning, and electric sunroof as standard fit.

There is loads of interior space and the boot is more than adequate to take all my medical equipment with me when visiting Patients (I'm a family Doctor).

On the down side the customer service has deteriorated since launch. Daewoo do pick up your vehicle and drive it away to be serviced, leaving you a replacement car but this service is becoming more grudging.

I've been happy with my 3 daewoo vehicles (I had 2 nexia's prior to this which gave me good service), but I am now looking at something even more economical to run, the Honda Insight.
