Advantages: Fast, Comfortable, Great Handling, Fun to drive, Acres of room, Cheap (for what it is)

Disadvantages: Expensive to service, Tire costs, Boring interior

Very few people get the chance to drive a car such as this, let alone own one. So, should you ever get the chance to drive, or even just ride in one, then take it! You will not regret it!

Ferrari are prestigious car crafters, they make what can only be described as the best out there. They are on teenagers walls; peoples driveways and at ever motor-show in the world. Their cars are crafter over months, each part assembled by skilled craftsmen. Once passing the air-tight quality control, they are allowed to be pulled together to create a magical vehicle.

Introduced in 2002, the 360 Modena replaced the much loved 355. And after the huge success of the 355, how could the 360 possibly be better?

Well, firstly the engine is much improved. The 360 has a 3.6L V8, whereas the 355 had a 3.5L V8. Not much? Power is now up from 380BHP to 400BHP. Now this may not sound like a massive increase, however, the you can certainly feel the extra power. 0-60MPH in dealt with in 4.5s unlike the 355's 4.7s. This is perhaps due to the much improved aero dynamics which make this car faster, but also, much better looking. Top speed: 180MPH.

This is all very well, but how does it perform? Well, the extra power is very much noticeable. The car sticks to the road like glue and, contrary to some review, i am yet to find a corner it will not go around at high speed (on a track of course).

The F1 gearbox is great on the track and road, but can be a pain in the backside wile parking or at low speed. In the city it is much easier to just put it into automatic mode. I have not yet driven a manual version, however, with a clutch pedal it will be much easier to park.

On the road the car is very civilized and tamed. It is a car i could use every day. Like all Ferrari's i find the interior particularly dull compared to the likes of Lamborghini or Aston Martin. It is however, a comfortable place to sit, even on long journeys. One option i would suggest not getting i the sports seats, they are just not worth it.

Running cost? Well insurance group 20 means you're going to be spending a few thousand here each year; servicing costs are from £700 to £2400 or more and every few thousand miles you are "advised" to pay £1000 for a set of new tires. We won't even bother with fuel costs, you know they will be high! Running this machine is never going to be cheap.

Buying one? Well expect to pay around £50,000 for a reasonable example. F1 gearboxes and Spyder edition will add a few grand to the price.

Is it worth having one? Well... yes! You will always have a smile on your face
