I was unfortunate enough to own one of these cars for a whole year, and all I can describe it as is a SHED! Ok.. it's alright for a first car. Low insurance, low tax, doesn't guzzle much fuel, and can fit in almost any car parking space, so it does have its perks!! The car itself though is very ugly looking.. not a great ... What a drasher - who knew? This car is so very small and so very racey that it makes you believe that you are capable of anything! (well that is probably a bit strong) Okay, so I downsized big time from a Landrover Discovery to a Fiat Cincequecento - but wow - now I can park ANYWHERE - my tax is £60, it cost's me £9 per month to insure ... I past my test January last year, and all i could moan on about to my parents was 'i want a car, i need a car, everyones got a car except me!!' 'You don't know how annoying it is to be able to drive and not own a car!' Of course being not much of a saver shall we say, i had no cash to actually by a car, hence my constant ... I bought this Red Fiat to replace my ageing Alfa 33 Cloverleaf, which was only managing 15 miles on every gallon of petrol. I thought this little car would be just economical and practical and a bit more reliable. How wrong I was. Don't get me wrong, its all of those things and more. But its also FUN FUN FUN. The ... My first car was a Fiat Cinquecento, back in 1997 I bought one second hand and it was only at the end of October 2000 that I replaced it. While it may not be a looker and it certainly isn't a mover, the Fiat Cinquecento has a personality that makes it seem like one of the family. My car was an unbadged 899cc model, which later became ... Read the complete review

You got to hand it to FIAT - they're not really into frills, but for fun, functional cars you can't go far wrong. At the moment the Cinq is excellent value for a small car, partly because with the introduction of the Seicento the Cinq has become more affordable for the younger market. At group 2 insurance (it doesn't get much ... Read the complete review

Jeff writes: They're funny looking things, Cinqs. A lot like Tonka cars...small, chunky, harmless. But beneath the toylike exterior lies a car which represents the best value for money driving entertainment money can buy. If everyone learnt to drive in a Cinq Sporting, the world would be a safer place. They don't ... Read the complete review

Just like your favourite chinese you can't take another bite but after half an hours rest you start to fancy another mouthful. Thats what driving one of these little cars is like, combine it with a grin factor of 10 and the frugality of scrooge and wahey !! We have had a couple of these cars, the first one was an sx ... I think the Fiat Cinquecento is not very good because I don’t like the style and look of the car, it reminds me of a car that has been bang into from behind. It is so small as it is design to be but I probably couldn’t even fit in because and even if I could I would look a tube in it. I have nothing against Fiat they have got a lot of ...
