Advantages: fun gears and good styling

Disadvantages: lack of speed, high fuel consumption and suspension

This models tiptronic gears are great fun - at first - but when the novelty wears off it's the speed, or lack of that you notice.
It takes about 11 secs to reach 60mph. I tried to pull off with an ELX model which is only 8V AND IT BEAT ME!
I would advise a decent lengths test drive before buying to see if it is for you but if fun is more important than speed then go for it because it has bags of style - except the ugly side strips which I hastily removed. The interior's nice as well as the 15" wheels, although they could be a bit bigger (does anything please me!)
I would warn that if you are buying a new one from the showroom then check, check and check again that they have ordered the extras you want cos I ordered air con and never got it which they then said was my fault!
Oh, I forgot to mention how noisy the engine is when pulling off - how awful as well as the stiff suspension, it picks up bumps that aren't even there, especially when your doing 70mph upwards. (not that I go that fast of course)
After six months driving this I so, so wish I got the manual gearbox which would have been £750 cheaper as well.
DON'T EVEN LET ME MENTION INSURANCE BEING A 17 YEAR OLD!
