An attractive little car, and whilst it won't break any records, it is a fun car to drive. I've enjoyed 25000 miles in mine and the only breakdown I have had was due to broken clutch cable (after only 20000 miles). This seems to be a common problem with Fiat cars as we have owned 2 Pandas before and have gone through 2 or 3 cables on each of them. I would recommend getting the cable changed every 18000 miles when the car has it's major service. Servicing costs are fairly high in my opinion. A minor service (every other 9000 miles) costs around £100 and the major service will set you back about £200. Although these costs are high, if you want your car ... Read the complete review

When looking for a second car, we wanted something that wouldn't add to a great deal to our motoring costs, but at the same time provide a fun driving experience. Our other car's a Saxo VTR, so the Seicento Sporting was never going to compare. Or so I thought.... The first impression upon driving the little yellow Italian is one of a smooth and solid car. Whilst it doesn't have the raw power and speed of our VTR, it certainly doesn't feel slow, being able to cope with most everyday traffic situations with its head held high, and you won't get left behind at the lights as often as you'd think! (if you're into that sort of thing!). ... Read the complete review

This small car is great for parking and getting around town and very easy to drive. It does pull fairly well for it's engine size and it appears very economical. It is group one insurance and it qualifies for the lower rate road tax. In the SX model, like mine it has power steering which is only acivated at really slow speeds to aid parking etc, it has a sunroof, electric windows and central locking. The stereo is ultra cool, as it is all digital, unfortunatly the removable front is pretty bulky and won't really fit in a small handbag. On the down side it is really fairly small and boot space is limited. Having gone from a Punto to this I would recommend ... Read the complete review

The new TD4 Freelander automatic is a superb fun car in sunny weather. The softback is somewhat fiddly to raise and lower but I've got it down to 5 mins up or down. Zips are a bit fragile so be careful. My personal view is that the 3 door model looks better than the 5 dr (especially with the softback open), but I am biassed - I bought one. The new TD4 engine pulls well above 10-15mph (below that like most turbo diesels it's a bit sluggish)and gives c.35mpg (25 when towing a caravan). Auto box is mostly a dream in 'D' though it can be caught out by being in too low a gear in some uphill situations - easy to cure by going to 'S' mode. I ... Read the complete review

and any more is defiantely a crowd in a Seicento. This car is begining to looked dated alonside rivals such as the Ka and Agila and though Fiat where first in the town car market they have done little to try to maintain pole position. The Seicento (Italian for 600) replaced the Cinqucento (500) a couple of years ago - but the improvements centered around a smoother and less distinctive bodyshell. The Seicento has more personality than many rivals and for the low purchase price you still receive a stereo and power steering and all but the basic S model have a sunroof. The Seicento is a car to avoid if space is required but for fun and cheekiness around town it is ... Read the complete review
