Advantages: Great for parking, good on petrol, small and neat little car

Disadvantages: Small boot, not much leg space in the back

I think it is important to firstly say that I know nothing about cars, so if you want a review which gives you lots of mechanical jargon about this car then this probably wont be the review for you...but dont stop reading here because what I can tell you is my experience with this car.

This is my first car and I have now had it for a couple of months, I passed my test in July and this was the car I have ended up with. Firstly I need to point out what a good deal I think I got on it (if its not a good deal then please dont tell me lol). It is a V Reg (1999) so it is quite old, it had done 41,000 miles, had a 12 month MOT and 6 month Tax at £1190. Good deal?
I found it on Autotrader and had been looking at lots of different models and it was my boyfriend who pointed this car out to me as I hadnt heard of it before.
As soon as I saw the car I thought it was perfect for me, a little car for a little person (I'm 5'2). I had wanted a small car as I am not a confident driver so I thought the smaller the better!

Looks and Interior
I like the look of this car, its small, flat at the back and quite square. Mine is a black model and has a small orange stripe through the side. The interior is grey and it is a pretty tidy little car. My cousin explained my car as 'everythings miniature!' The revometer (if thts wt u call it) is in the centre of the car dashboard.
Also what may put some people off about this car but I actually see it as a positive is that there is no glove compartment, it looks like a glove compartment but with no door on it, if that makes sense!
The boot is also very small so would be useful for pushchairs and suitcases or anything big like that.
The back seats can be quite cramped if you are tall but my friends and family have been in there and not complained, (although why would they when they are getting driven around!)

Driving
At first I found this car hard to drive but as I said this is my first car. I find 1st gear very hard to get into and I dont know if this is the same with all models or just mine, but that is a point to be mentioned.
Parking is great because if your good at parking you could probably fit it in anywhere! Although I do live up to the saying about women drivers (sorry ladies!)
Its good on petrol, I havent had a full tank yet, but im guessing it would be around £30.

Little Mechanical Stuff
-1.1 Litre
-3 door
-Sunroof

(Like I said I dont know much about cars!)

Overall its a good little car and Im glad its my first car, Ive had no problems to date, touch wood, and would definately recommend it!

Summary: A great little ideal first car!
