Advantages: Quick, cheap, cute

Disadvantages: Small

I dont know where the compromises are, but this car to me seems good value for money. Electric windows, central locking, cd player, airbag etc.
I was surprised with the turn of speed but then anything would be an improvement over my last form of transport - a 1.0 Metro.
It's nice looking for the type of car it is, a little 'girly' i suppose, but with different alloys you could change that
The car has good accelleration upto around 65-70 and then begins to lose a bit of go. Between 20-50 seems quick to me, the engine makes a nice rasping noise at high revs, and is quite easy to drive with your foot to the floor. There doesn't seem to be much if any torque steer.
There's a sunroof too, although its not one of those ones you can wind back, just one that tilts from the front. The lights are good for a small car, and visibility is good all-round. The seats are nice, very nice for a car in this price bracket. They're sporty looking, have a nice colour, texture and pattern. I guess the only thing bad about them is the sides of them, although hugging, dont hug you enough.
So, the bad points? There needs to be atleast 2 more speakers for the stereo, the sound from the front two gets pretty muddled with music slightly technical. They also lack extension to low frequencys. The stereo itself is a pretty nice though, a good brand CD player/tuner, with the ability to have its front removed for security. The second bad point is the lack of grip. The car has nice handling, not much body roll at all and can be thrown about a bit, but past the limit there is a lot of understeer. The tyres are 165's (higher the number, the wider the tyre), i think it could do with some 185's to sure up the grip. There isn't that much room inside either. Up front there is enough room for me, and i am 6'5", but this is with the seat all the way back - leaving little room for people in the back.
And lastly, another gripe is that t
he gearbox is quite rangey. Because of this you have to put the stick quite far left when putting the car in 1st or 2nd, and you often find yourself touching the persons leg in the passenger seat! Now, this could be good if its your partner sitting there, but when its your one of your mates you have to be careful.

Overall i would recommend this to anyone wanting a small nippy machine, unless they are wanting to seat 4 people, or wanting a lot of boot space.

Nice first op.
I had one of these as a courtesy car (not the sporting style) and found it to be a good nippy little car. Did have a bit of problem getting used to the gears though.
