Advantages: Strong Engine - Especially with Optimax, Addictive Handling, Fit and Finish

Disadvantages: 2 Wiper Speeds, Brakes are a little weak

I am really priveleged to own such a brilliant car as I am only 17 years old and do not need a car that has a teriffic amount of space as I normally travel on my own and am not hauling shopping about. The performance of this car really suprised me, in town from 0-45 the performance is quite amazing, has left many other larger cars for dead - especially using shell optimax fuel - which I would highly recommend! The engine makes a nice rasp and is crying out to be driven fast. The handling of the car is also great and I actually end up carrying more speed out of the corner than in! The car is also comfortable and refined, despite its samll size with its supportive bucket seats. I also love the styling of the car, although in some areas it is basic - like the painted door interiors, but I love this as it gives the car a stripped out racy car feel. The exterior also looks great with front splitter and colour coded air intakes as well as the blue flashes along the side and back of the car. The only downsides of this car is the lack of three wiper speeds and quite weak brakes, which need a good push to slow you down quickly. I would really recomend one of these, especially with the group 3 insurance it has to offer.

Welcome to dooyoo. You will always remember your first car. The way you talk about coming out of a corner faster than you go in makes me assume that inadequate brakes is more than a small disadvantage. Take care. :-)

Oh, I do agree about Shell Optimax. Brilliant fuel for any motor with a knock sensor. Has tranformed our Accord Type R when compared with Esso Super unleaded.

I wish you well. It seems to be a car that gives trouble, and Fiat garages are not the brightest stars on teh block.

I reckon you would have done better with a Corsa or a Saxo.
