Lets just say - I'm reading this after the fact! - I bought the exact same version of the said car and funny enought all the parts need replacing and I have had a massive £1600 quote from Fiat to consider - so I've ordered all the parts and am now looking for a mechanic to fit them ... not sure if this will work out cheaper - but its worh a try and I guess my only fear now is the heating problem as mentioned, as my daughter and ~I did wonder why it was so hot in the car - hahaha I shouldn't laugh as this is all costing me sooooo much money, but I wish I had researched better .... never mind I'll just have to get on with it, as we want to keep the car! good luck to you all :)

I bought a red Fiat Seicento Sporting 2001 model from my dads gargage last october, and the lads at the gargae gave their honest opinion and said it was a good little car in good condition although it had 5 previous owners. Now i've had it nearly a year, it's been to scotland 3 or 4 times and gets used alot going back and forth to college ...

Jesus christ what a car!! I have owned my 2003 Seicento Sporting 1.1 mpi for 8 mths now and wow, what a pocket rocket. I paid £3200 for mine in early 2005, with only 3,000 miles on the clock in metallic steel grey(rare colour, as most are yellow or red), a real bargain. The fuel enconomy is brillant averaging about ...

I have owned my Seicento sporting from new since September 2003. I was thinking about buying a car and chose to look at Fiat due to there being a local main dealer that offered good finance deals. Having been cornered by the salesman I was beginning to feel pressured into buying a car there and then. Being a mere 'woman' and , true to the clichés, ...

Quite frankly im lost. Yes, for the last 2 months I have been rattling around in a Fiat Seicento Sporting and by now I know every small inch of the car. That is mainly because it is so small, I take up most of the room in it. But while I have had a good run in the car, Im still lost as to where Fiat have cleverly hidden the ...

I've recently purchased a Fiat Seicento Sporting 2002MPI model and its ill!! I've owned a cinq previously and I really really enjoyed driving that even tho I spent the best part of 18months replacing parts such as the radiator, fan, clutch, skimmin the cylinder heads, and numerous other items under the bonnet you would never think would ...

I am really priveleged to own such a brilliant car as I am only 17 years old and do not need a car that has a teriffic amount of space as I normally travel on my own and am not hauling shopping about. The performance of this car really suprised me, in town from 0-45 the performance is quite amazing, has left many other larger cars for dead - ...

I'm writing this in the hope that potential car-buyers won't make the mistake I did. If I save just one person from the disappointment I've encountered I'll feel it's some compensation for the expensive lesson I learnt last year. My 30th birthday was coming up and I was gloomily contemplating leaving my ...

I ran my Sei over 2 and a half years, and 45,000 miles. In that time, I grew more and more attached to the car - It is one of the rare cars today with a character. I passed up the Toyota Yaris in favour of the Seicento for this very reason. The Yaris was just a box on wheels in comparison. It didn't feel alive in quite the same ...

I bought my Seicento sporting in October 2001. So far (8500 miles), I have been extremely impressed with the build quality, reliability and performance of this model. This car is my first car and I chose it for its combination of looks, low insurance group(3), and sheer value for money. The car has an impressive standard kit list: ...

I dont know where the compromises are, but this car to me seems good value for money. Electric windows, central locking, cd player, airbag etc. I was surprised with the turn of speed but then anything would be an improvement over my last form of transport - a 1.0 Metro. It's nice looking for the type of car it is, a little ...

Being one of the oldest models on the road, some of my comments and niggles with this car have already been sorted out by the manufacturer, but still if your buying second hand, you’ll know what to look out for. My overall view of this car is that it is a fantastic little runner, and being previously a cinquecento SX driver this was ...

I recently took a W reg one of these babies for a test drive and to be honest I was plesently suprised. I have always liked the look of these little cars but, as they only have a 1.1litre engine I have never really considered one. The sporting model definatly looks the best. The new look is fantastic, even sportier than the W reg that we ...

Although fast approaching it's third year in our family, I still have a smile on my face every time I climb out of the Fiat Seiento. Surprisingly for such a small city car, and one which is not exactly in the first flushings of youth, it still draws admiring looks and comments from other motorists. It's cheeky good looks (particularly ...

very fun car. looks to die for with this model. loads of extras, including CD player as standard, with more than adequate speakers. loads of character for just a 1.1 however still satisfyingly nippy with a nice gearbox. high revs throughout the gears but well comfortable cruising at 80mph. easy as it looks to drive, but models with PAS are the ...
