great car..... (Fiat Stilo)

Advantages: interior space and looks, driving position, enigne and economy

I have recently purchased a 02 MY 1.2 active 5dr (13k miles) for my wife as she is a district nurse, and she required a economical car, we went looking for cars ans we stumbled across the Stilo, had not really heard much about them up till this point....

On the road: the high driving position gives great visibility, no real blind spots, I struggle to beleive that the engine is ONLY a 1.2, its so willing and the 6-speed box is a delight, you get to enjoy gearchanges!!!
Interior: the use of the interior space is great, the kids truly love it, the reclining rear seats are great on long journeys, as they can crash out and relax, the tray table between the seats has cup holders and a cubby tray inside, there is a rear 12v power receptacle for their electronis games. the front storage is equally good, with storage spaces everywhere, the upper glovebox cooler is great.
the seating is comfortable, leg room is fantastic, I took a few mates out for a pool match, and the commented how much room there was.

service:
Had an airbag failure warning appear on the dash, so we contacted the AA, (even as a second owner the relay plus cover still applies) they said that it was not to be moved, they collected it on a low loader truck dropped it off at the dealership (not where I brought it from) took me to the local Europcar hire centre and gave me a loan vehicle, this was because it was a sunday, so the service centre was not open. my wife phoned on monday, and by mid afternnon th ecar was ready for collection with no charge, all I had to do was to take the loan car back to the rental location. GREAT SERVICE!!!!!!
