I bought one of these babies two years ago and still have it. I had a Citroen AX before and this was rusting away at the wheel arches and the water leaked! The escort I have is The Mark 2 and I absolutely love it. So far I haven't had any problems with it at all!

Mine is a 92 plate but the wonderful thing is it's a ford and the chassis never tends to rust neither do the wheel arches, it's in great condition, the engine is tip top and it drives smoothly. It's roomy, comfortable to drive not only that but for a car almost twenty years old it still looks wuite stylish with the smooth spoiler running across the back and the colour coded bumpers

I would recommend anyone searching for a big/ family car to opt for a ford they are reliable, drive well and the parts are relatively inexpensive compared to other foreign manufacturers.
