I was glad i decided to buy a fiesta instead of something like a 206, which is considerd a "more desirable car" I could not figure out why someone with abit more than "frst car money" would spend it on a 206 when they could get even more kit, and all round value for money out of one of these cracking little fiesta's. The fiesta is extreme...more

Zetec, the ultimate name in the Ford Dictionary, but what does it mean? The Ford fiesta Zetec is the sporty model in a long and established range of Fiesta models. Here is a bit of “Did you know?” for the enthusiast, and even the genuinely interested. The Fiesta is the most common car on the road in the UK; with an estimated half a million taxed cars being driven around. Built at Dagenham, Essex, the 1 millionth car rolled of the production line some years ago. The Fiesta is the last car to be built by Ford in the UK When production of the fiesta stops, an association of Ford cars and the UK will cease ...  Read the complete review

I own a mark 4 Fiesta Zetec 1.25 which I bought back in February 2001. I think it's a great little car to drive, probably the best car of it's class and size. Ride and Handling: This is where the Fiesta really excels. It can take corners at speed with no problem and it grips the road really well, the Zetec includes power-steering and uprated suspension. The overall ride is very comfortable and secure thanks to the sports-style front seats. Engine: The 1.25 16v Zetec engine is very responsive and will rev quite happily when you plant your right foot down. Power is around 75bhp as standard which is impressive for such a small engine. ...  Read the complete review

What every new driver wants! (445 words)

I recently turned 18 and thought to myself, I'm fed up of using my dads car so I quickly got out there looking for my first car. There were so many different choices and I was slightly confused which to choose untill one day my little fiesta popped up! I thought to myself, they must be pretty decent cars, you see so many of them on the roads and i can see why. I ended up buying my 1998 S Reg Fiesta 1.25i 16v Zetec (94k on the clock!) for just under £1000 and it was a complete steal, your probably thinking to yourself 94k eek stay away but the engine when started (first time everytime!) sounds no louder than new cars. The fiesta in itself ...  Read the complete review

Despite most of the other reviews saying the problem with the Fiesta is the size, DON'T LET THIS PUT YOU OFF!! I find the size ample - we use this car to shift all my stuff to and from Uni 6 times a year, and I have a lot of stuff. Also, last summer we fitted 2 televisions, a microwave, one big box of Uni notes, 4 adults and 4 adults' belongings for a week all into the fiesta for a 10-hour round trip from Manchester to Belfast and back (via Stanstead). Admittedly, it was cramped, but still... The only size drawback is that legroom in the back is slightly cramped. What puts this apart from other similar-sized cars is that the engine performs so well, ...  Read the complete review
