I just turned 17, and was looking for a first car for AGES, I was very stuborn about having just any car for my first car as i had been in full-time work for a year and could afford to spend abit more than "first car money," and i now own:
2001 (51 reg) Dark Green Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec S 16V:
-Power steering,
-Alloy wheels,
-Electric Windows,
-CD Player (Built in),
-Front and rear fog lights,
-Central locking (not remote),
-Funky little rear spoiler,
-Boot reliece button (on bottom of dash to unlock boot)
-26,000 miles (Full service story and proof of mileage)
-!!!!!!!!£2200!!!!!!!!!!

If you look hard enough and be patient you relly can get a bargain on one of these little cars!

I was glad i decided to buy a fiesta instead of something like a 206, which is considerd a "more desirable car" I could not figure out why someone with abit more than "frst car money" would spend it on a 206 when they could get even more kit, and all round value for money out of one of these cracking little fiesta's.

The fiesta is extremelly nippy and an exellent first car as its easy to drive, very comfortable, Has a BIG boot (plenty for room for the weekly shop), Folding rear seats for even more back space, and the blowers (although not quite upto air-con standard are still exellent) And if it has been looked after, they look absolutley great! This is a small, cheap car that you wont be ashamed to be seen in.

The downsides to this car (although hard to pick out) are:
-No Air-Conditioning
-The Steering Wheel cannot be adjusted (although chair can be well adusted which can mostly solve this problem)
-Rear leg room could be a little better (although not uncomfortable)

Overall the Fiesta is a Great little car and i really would reccomend this car to ANYONE looking for a first car, or even just a small run about.
