Inbetween services, all that has needed to be done to it is a new exhaust after one year of owning, new front tyres two years ago, and about £130 worth of repairs for MOT last year. People I know with other (first) cars, have had to pay a lot more or double that.
Granted, it has got a couple of tiny bits of rust, but it will do for a car of this maturity. Generally, these cars would come with the old-school cassette players, but its cheap enough to replace...more

I have had this car for almost four years now, and has been a lot more reliable than expected/compared to other cars. Considering it's 13 years old, it still runs well, fun to drive, and isn't too bad on insurance. Its also quite small - so easy to drive down narrow streets, or to get in a 'not so generous' parking space.
