Ford Fiesta (1999 onwards) in general

In terms of the interior facilities, these are enough to allow the car to be driven with a degree of comfort and entertainment, but not so plentiful that the dashboard confuses. As a downside I would say that I often struggled to apply the handbrake fully - as a female driver I perhaps don't have the same strength as male drivers and this caused the occasional problem with hill starts. Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi 1.4 Ghia (2004) Background I have owned my 2004 Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi since it was 6 months old and have traveled at the time of writing (OCT 2007) 25000 miles though the car has done 30000 in total. The car lacks in one area, which is acceleration, however, this does not detract from a 5-star rating because if you're purchasing a diesel at this price point you should be doing it for the excellent economy - not for super fast performance... The Drive The car is great fun to drive, and surprisingly nippy round town, the handling feels safe and secure and corners neatly. It is not a performance hatchback so don't expect to ...

Now we have just gone out and taken advantage of a cracking deal that ford are currently offering to the public. A brand new fiesta with air conditioning for free all for £8,995!!! Wow! I hear you cry. But what am I getting for my money? Well, the deal is not quite what it seems. the good price is for a 3 door with no metallic paint. This limits your colours greatly. So go for the metallic paint option. ANOTHER £250!!! OK, me and the wife are having a baby. Lets go 5 door.... ANOTHER £700!!! So the cheap car is suddenly getting expensive. However, you are still getting a lot of car for your money. Firstly, lets ...

I had my beautiful 2002 Ford Fiesta Finesse as my first car and it really did serve me well. It lasted me 4 years then I traded her in for a Golf but I do occasionally drive my mums Fiesta so I can reminisce about how much fun she was to drive. Don't get me wrong, there is no way I would ever trade n my Golf to get the Fiesta back again but I think that, as a first car, you really cant go wrong with it. Mine was a 3 door 1250 CC and that was enough for me at the time. Sure it had trouble getting up hills and the back was pretty cramped but I still loved it. The one main thing that I really liked was the fact that it was so light. You could go round ...
