Advantages: cheap to run

Disadvantages: tin-y and cheap feeling

The car I own is a 04 plate model. It is the finesse one which is the base model so no real toys. The inside is functional but not very nice plastics. There is a feeling of cheapness and penny pinching about the interior which drags on into the drivetrain components of the car. One morning we came out to find the springs on the suspension had just collapsed without even being touched.

the engine is quite nice. lots of grunt in 3rd and 4th with motorway driving being not too scary although the car can be dragged about by lorries or the wind at speed. The brakes do not add to the feeling of safety being quite underpowered and take a long time before they kick in while using the pedal. The clutch is light which most people will like also

All the control are at easy reach and the radio is very simple to use. It stands out as a nicely designed unit with a CD player as standard.

The worst colour to get is normally red as it fades too quickly but our car is red and the colour which not as red as it once was is not noticable unless you park next to a brand new red car.

In short then a nice simple car to own and drive which shouldnt cause you too many problems but sadly also not much excitement

Summary: cheap 2nd car or 1st time owner
