Ford Fiesta Ghia 1.6

Description: Ford Fiesta Ghia 1.6 Petrol

... reasonably priced. The size of the car is a great compromise between a generous boot and seating room with the ability to fit through urban traffic gaps. The car is also very short due to its small engine but still retains a generous boot and rear seating room. This car isn't really made for motorway driving, the small engine means the revs run high on the motorway and although the ride is comfortable, it is also very loud and the rumble of the road makes it necessary to raise your voice to have a conversation. Premium Review Ford Fiesta Ghia 1.6: Good little runner (471 words)

I have an 05 reg 1.25L 5dr fiesta climate, same model as the picture. This is an excellent run around, I mainly use it to commute to work but have driven the length of the country in it a few times as well. The car has a really good balance of comfort and simplicity, it's extremely light without showing the body work on the inside (like the K.A). With just the driver in the car it is incredibly nippy despite basically having a motorbike engine (on the small engine petrol versions). The petrol consumption is great, the stock alloys look good and the climate additions (AC, heated front, rear & side) work really well, heating up or cooling down quickly. We have this car, which we bought in October, its 3 years old and a good little runner. The fuel economy is good, to fill the tank at todays petrol prices in our area (82.9ppl) it costs us around £25-£30 and the mpg is around 65. The top speed is 102mph which is good for a 5 door family car!! The only problem I have with the car is the insurance. For some very strange reason, I cannot think why, the ford fiesta is a very high insured car. Now, my husband is the driver who is 21 and had an accident last year, both of which bring the premium up. But, we're paying £171 a month for the insurance on this car, and thats the lowest we can pay after many phone calls to ...  Read the complete review

The newest Ford Fiesta is an all-new car. It is not a revamp of an old chassis with go-faster stripes. I have just bought one for my wife and would like to tell you all about it. "Telling" may soon be about all I can do where this car is concerned; as the more she drives it the less she let's me near it. We have not had the car so very long but if I learn anything new - I'll add it here over time, good or bad.. First Impressions =========== Having owned a variety of small cars and driven quite a few more - it is clear that standards have risen across the board year after year. The Fiesta keeps that theme going for me ...  Read the complete review
