... regret this deal, as the Orion caused me all kinds of grief, as you can read in another opinion! Still, I was so attached to the fiesta, that a few years later, I purchased another one for my girlfriend. That was a C-reg 1.3 ghia model, which had done 150,000 miles. Actually moreso, as it also had a trip timer, and a cassette box! I also briefly owned an F-reg 1.4S mod...more

I passed my test in 1989, and having driven an horrendous & underpowered 1.0L Metro for 6 months, I convinced my mum to part with some readies and buy a new car that both of us could drive. At first I wasnt too keen on the colour (it was Gold!) but after some lessons in it, I soon grew very fond of the cars power, speed for a 1.1, ...  Read the complete review

Well the fiesta I have recently bought is a MKIII fiesta, which was first introduced to Britain in 1989. We see loads of them around, but there’s one thing that makes mine a bit different from the rest, it is the Ghia version. What this means, is it’s got a sunroof, electric windows, ABS, a 1.4 engine and other groovy little enhancements. It was basically the top of the range fiesta you could buy back then. Mine is a G reg model, bit ...  Read the complete review
