I love my Ghia! (Ford Fiesta Ghia)

Advantages: Comfort, reliability, space (for a small car), Air Con, Fuel Consumption Disadvantages: No sunroof! Small boot, Susceptible to Rust I bought this car second hand (2 previous owners) around 2 years ago - it is a 2002 reg. The interior is very comfortable, the steering wheel is compact, the gears and foot pedals are spaced out nicely, and there are plenty of cup holders / pockets etc to store things. I do not have a sun-roof, but the air conditioning is absolutely superb. It has various settings and has been a life saver in both winter and summer. Externally the body work seems quite susceptible to rust - this is something to look out for when buying a Ghia, and to keep on top of if you own one. It is pretty good on fuel, I think I get around 320 miles out of the tank (which at 102.9 a litre costs me £40 to fill - never been good at the miles to the gallon workings out!). The engine gets very hot, it is not a fault, or a mechanical failure, as I, in a panic, have taken it to a few different reputable garages about this. You should therefore allow the engine to cool before popping the bonnet and topping up fluids, including the windscreen wash (just in case you burn yourself!). The boot lights up when you open it, which is a good feature, and is not huge, but sufficient to put a week's shopping in! Overall, an excellent, reliable, sturdy and comfortable car. Summary: Overall an excellent, reliable, sturdy and comfortable car
