Premium Review Ford Fiesta Ghia: A nothing special family car (284 words)
by - written on 12/10/09 (Useful, 54 readings)
Rating:

I learned to drive in on of these a month or so ago and spent many an hour driving around in town in it. As a learner car it was good. It was not hard to drive by any means and difficult to stall. I haven't had enough driving experience yet to really judge it but there were a few things that came to mind. The first of these ...  Read the complete review

I bought this car second hand (2 previous owners) around 2 years ago - it is a 2002 reg. The interior is very comfortable, the steering wheel is compact, the gears and foot pedals are spaced out nicely, and there are plenty of cup holders / pockets etc to store things. I do not have a sun-roof, but the air conditioning is absolutely superb. It has ...  Read the complete review

Ford Fiesta Ghia: Thank God I don't own one (205 words)

Hired a new Fiesta in Cyprus last year and thought it was a bit rough but put this down to the roads there. This last three weeks had a loan car, Fiesta Style, petrol with 10,000 on the clock, as wifes car written off. Never been a fan of Fords as I can remember the day when you had one only if you couldn't afford a push bike. But they have ...  Read the complete review

I bought it brand new in 2000 and it is a great car, it handles pretty well and is very responsive under the accelerator, I have also added a sunroof, spoiler and cd player. It is very good on the mileage, for the petrol (around 35 per gallon), and it has 14" spoke alloys as standard with a nice thick tyre and a host of other extras (ones ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ford Fiesta Ghia: Stay clear of Ford (134 words)
by - written on 26/09/04 (Somewhat useful, 2586 readings)
Rating:

I would suggest to anyone thinking of buying a Ford Fiesta or a Ford in general to do themselves a massive favour and stay well clear. Yes this car is nice to drive. But that’s about the only positive thing I can say about this car. We bought a Fiesta 1.25 Ghia from new, and from the start we had problems. Rattles, Brake ...  Read the complete review

I really do love my 'P' reg Ford Fiesta Ghia, it is a pleasure to drive. This is only my second car ever - the first being a Vauxhall Corsa Envoy so whilst I do not have experience of many cars I know what I like and I do like the Fiesta Ghia. It is nippy, comfortable, handles well and last but not least a good looking car. ...  Read the complete review

Ford Fiesta Ghia the real story (267 words)

I am lucky enough to own a 1997 (P) Ghia X, and I have to say that it is a FABULOUS little car!!! I must admit that I am a fan of the Fiesta, having owned a mark 2 for 6 or so years. Having upgraded to this newer mark 4 model, I can see that Ford have got things right. The brakes actually work, it feels safe (even thought it is a small ...  Read the complete review

We all like comfort in our cars. We all want a little bit extra in our transport. So that is where the Ghia range of fiestas comes into its own for small car niceties. Ghia have been putting their personalised touches on Ford cars for about 25 years now. I remember Escorts of the 1980's having chrome piping around the ...  Read the complete review
