my love/hate relationship (Ford Fiesta (pre-1995))

Advantages: cheap to run Disadvantages: can be sluggish in cold weather
Out of the three cars I have owned two have been fiestas. They make the ideal first car for a few reasons. Economy wise theyr'e cheap to run and parts aren't that expensive. The insurance on older models is pretty low. They can also zip along when you put your foot down. Of course they aren't the most advanced cars out there but you pay a lot more for them. The older models of fiesta can last years and if you look after them well can really maintain a good price on selling. There is always a second hand market for these cars. Of course mine seems to be a bit sluggish in cold weather but once it's got that petrol running through the engine it really runs smoothly. One word of advice though-if you're a boy racer please don't try and beef these cars up beacause it makes you look stupid. Summary: |
