Advantages: A small car that thinks its BIG!

Disadvantages: Not suitable for a large family with a large dog!

I just love Fiestas but unfortunately cannot yet afford one of the newer models. My first Fiesta was one of the original ones (T Reg) and never let me down. After owning a van driving a Fiesta was wonderful - such good vision. The petrol consumption was incredible (about 50 mpg) and, for a 950 cc it had plenty of 'go'.
I sold it to update to a 1984 model which was Nimbus Grey and 1100 cc - incredibly flash, I thought at the time. This Fiesta drove even better than my first one and didn't seem to use any more petrol (on a long run anyway). With the back seats down, I managed to pick up an automatic washing machine in the back and, later, a dishwasher. I could even fit a large dog crate in the back (just!) to take my large Gordon Setter out.
Believe it or not, if I came into money, I would not hesitate to buy a brand new Fiesta.

Hurrah for the fiesta! My first car was a black 957cc 89 F, which I took all the badges off (I thought it looked cool at the time!) I've had loads of cars since (father in motor trade - see my other reviews) and there will always be a place in my heart for the mighty Fiesta.

What dooyoo drive now?
