1 of my cars is one of these babys but a 1.4L, and out of all the cars i have owned this has to be the most reliable by far. No electrics or engine management to go wrong so straight away more reliable than most new cars. Very tunable as well wether its sticking bike carbs on or going for the engine change. They handle very well, the 1.4 is very nippy for what it is and its not to bad on fuel either. The 1.6 xr2 is the one to have tho, but for a 1.6 they are a high insurance group and road tax isnt to cheap for it either but the driving experience and the way people still admire them overshadows this by a long way.
