I think this car is absolutely great, we are now on to our third Ford Fiesta Zetec and we are in the process of selling our 2003 Ford Fiesta Finesse. We have just purchased A green 1998 three door 1.25 Fiesta Zetec. The interior is not as good as the newer 2003 model as in quality of materials but the general layout is good and with heated front and rear screens will be a real bonus on those frosty winter mornings when most of my neighbours will be scrapping away at their windscreens! I find this little car great fun to drive with good handling and a wonderful engine which is only 1.25L giving good full economy cheap road tax and low car insurance ( group five I believe). I was told that Yamaha helped ford design the Zetec engine and if this is true I am not surprised. It is much more refined than the old rattley fiesta engines of old but beware I have been told that they need a good quality oil so it is probably worth investing in something half decent. My only real complaint is that as this is only a three door model when you pull back the front seats to get into the back of the car the seat is sprung loaded and always springs back which means if you have both hands full with shopping etc it can make it a real bind loading up the car. Overall I would recommend these great little cars to anyone as they are cheap to run and service as well as never having any major problems they are reliable as well.
