Fiesta's and learners, the best combination (Ford Fiesta Zetec in general)
Advantages: Small inexpensive, easy to drive/repair Disadvantages: many bad second had cars available so be carefull
I’ve been a faithful fiesta fan since I passed my driving test when I was seventeen. In fact my dad has had every fiesta shape since the MK2 when he had a 950 popular plus. The fiesta I learned to drive in was an M reg fiesta azura; it was brilliant for me as it had some power but not enough for an inexperienced driver to be too daft. This fiesta was updated to a P reg 1.3i, which I still drive on occasion today; again it is a brilliant car with quite a bit of oomph when needed. The handling is good and sure footed and coupled with the ease of front wheel drive is great. I would recommend any new driver who wants a good all-round car for their first to get a fiesta. IF you are confident then the zetec range with the 1.25 16V or 1.4 16V power plant is very good [and fast for the boy racers :) ]. The insurance isn’t too bad either as this is a BIG part of the experience of a car. Summary: |
