Ford Focus C-Max
Disadvantages: A bit heavy to drive
I currently own a 54 plate Ford Focus C Max, and to be honest yes it is a good car for people especially when you have kids... it is quite spacious, the boot is a pretty good size, which for me is great because I need room for a buggy and also shopping! I also like the fact that I am seated a little higher than a normal car, and I like the gear stick being a little higher.
Saying all that I do have to say that I feel like it can be hard work to drive sometimes, unless that is just me being fussy, but I feel the sterring can sometimes feel a little heavy, and the brakes seem to only register when pushed right down to the floor. The only thing that really annoys me, and makes me feel quite uneasy at times is that it is not that great in the icy weather or the wet conditions... it does tend to slide about a bit, I don't know whether this is because maybe buying really expensive tyres would be the best but, however, I am happy with the car overall, and I know what it feels like to drive and I know what to expect in weather conditions.... one thing I dont get is... it is classed as an MPV.... which I always thought stood for Muti-Person/passenger Vehicle... so I thought maybe it had extra seating... but I was wrong, as it does only have 5 seats, just like the car... I am hoping that I can get maybe a Ford Galaxy or Vauxhall Vectra next, so I can take my family out, and have more room for those extra passengers!
Summary: Overall a nice family car for space but could do with some driving comfort
