Ford Focus Tdci (Ford Focus Zetec Collection)
Member Name: rrharmston
Advantages: Confortable, good mpg, space, safety Disadvantages: stalling, sluggish below 30mph I've owned a ford focus tdci for the past two years. It's proved to be reliable and the services costs are not too bad even through the ford dealer. It's a comfortable but firm ride and it handles well on the corners. The Ford CD player is rather basic and can be difficult to use when driving but the controls are available on the steeing wheel. The boot is a decent size with plenty of storage space and with the back seats down there is plenty of room for carrying furniture and large loads. The standard tyres that came with the car have worn down and I was suprised how quickly this happened. The car is a 1.8 turbo diesel but it's slower away from traffic lights than the previous 1.3 petrol car which I owned previously. Once the turbo comes on at around 30 miles an hour the car accelerates well and is comfortable for long car journeys at motorway speeds. It was great fun to drive on bendy roads and hills of north yorkshire. Overall a good family car. Summary: Good family car
