i bought an 09 focus zetec 1.6, as everyone says, the steering and comfortable sports seats are superb. The air/con, cd/radio, interior and quick clear windscreen are the usual ford standard. it really is a very smooth drive, although i find it a bit sluggish from first to third. as for fuel costs, im averaging 38 mpg which is really good. ive done a lot of motorway driving recently and the focus is first class for comfort on a long drive. on country roads the sports suspension and superb steering give it excellent handling on those twisting b roads. Appearance wise, with the new shape of the bodywork, alloys, front fog lights, the focus looks great. Overall i am happy with my focus,it lives up to what you would expect from a 1.6 engine. Bad points are, a bit slow in low gears and the soundproofing could have been better. overall verdict, great to drive,cheap insurance, good fuel economy and nice looking, a winner.

Summary: no1 best seller for a reason.
