Advantages: Price, Comfort, Running Costs
Disadvantages: Focus is a very common car
I was in the market for a new car, and had heard lots about the Focus, so along with the VW Golf, Seat Leon, Vauxhall Astra and Renault Megane, it went on my test drive list. I can honestly say that the Focus was by far and away the best drive. Suspension is firm but flexible, accelleratio The only car that came close was the Leon. The Golf was nice enough, but nothing special, and very pricey. I went for this model cos it had the sporty trim (mesh on the bumpers instead of the standard slats, circular fog lamps, rear spoiler), this makes it stand out from the other million Focus' on the road. Apart from that it is identical to the 1.8 Zetec in every other way. Nice bit of power on the motorways, but just as easy to drive around town. I can get about 350miles out of a tank that costs about £40 to fill. Very comfortable too seats are firm and the car is very spacious. 4000 miles on it now and now problems with anything (touch wood!). The design is very different to your normal hatchback, but again this only adds to what makes it such a great car to drive.
