Advantages: Great handling, powerful ,great looks

Disadvantages: Poor heater, expensive to fill

I've had my second-hand Focus 1.8 Zetec for about 5 months now and despite a few small teething problems the car is great. The looks speak for themselves, fantastic. I have the 5 door version and many people have commented on the rear passenger space being very high. They liked it this way and found the room in the back to be more than enough for long journeys.

Although I find the engine to be a tad on the loud side (maybe switching from a Diesel, I was expecting far too much!) the pick up is excellent and nice and powerful.

The best thing is the handling which is brilliant around corners, no wallowing or bodyroll to note with pinpoint steering. I've been in cars costing 4 times as much and they don't beat this!

The car gives pretty good economy but does cost a lot to fill, especially in England!!
If you have a choice go for the Air con and heated front windscreen (This is an excellent feature that helps no end on the cold mornings). However, the heater is a bit on the weedy side unless on the higher settings.

To sum up, a great car that i'm sure will hold it's value in the long term, not that i'm selling mine!!
