I have owned my Ford Focus for a year now, it is a Focus Silver, although not a Zetec as such...but it is based on one, its the same as the 1.6 Zetec but with extras such as Air-con, Heated Screen, Electric Mirrors, ABS, RS Alloys, Black Leather Interior and Machine Silver paintwork.
This is my second Focus, the first being a 1.8 Zetec, which was also a fantastic car, i owned that for two years and it never let me down once.
I was a bit concerned when i bought this car as it meant going for a less powerful engine, but there is very little difference between the two, both cars have handled brilliant, a sporty drive from a car that is not an out and out sports machine, although until the recent arrival of the ST170 and RS it was the sportiest focus.
The driving position is spot on, with lots of headroom for tall drivers like myself, and good seat and steering column adjustment, responsive brakes, also with the facelift 2002 model the headlights seem better than the previous model, a slick gearchange which gets better as the car covers more mileage.
My favourite feature of my car is the leather interior with heated front seats, not only does it look good its very comfortable as well, worth paying the extra to have this as an option in my opinion.
So after being a Focus owner for three years i am totally satisfied, and would buy another.
