Just when we think we have got used to the focus' sharp looks, we drive one and remind ourselfs how far ahead it is of every rival. Not just because it rides, handles and steers better, but for its practical, thoughtfull interior. The driving position is spot on with plenty of space for a family of five. All of the buttons and switches are brilliantly laid out on the inside. The only thing wrong with this car is that ford is too mean to provide more than a 12 month warranty.
