- 16/12/08 zrblue - please ignore his false comments.
Firstly he claims he works in "motor vehical testing industry" yet he is either in his 3rd year or has completed a mickey mouse degree in "Interational Management" very qualified in motor vehical testing, not! Nevermind im sure he will get promoted from burger flipper in McDs!
Further more he has reviewed the KA and given false states such has a ridiculous weight and BHP of 55!
I will let you the reader decided, but its not looking good for zrblue opinion now is it! |

- 17/09/08 I liked the review for the fact that it is very detailed, but what i didnt like was how far off your facts are...
For instance, the 1.3 Ford Ka (the 70ps model so highest 1.3 spec) just will not reach 60mph in 9.5-10 seconds. You mention power to weight ratio but to be honest it has a rather poor power to weight ratio of only 79.2 bhp/ton and being an engine with a low level displacement, it doesnt have a great deal of torque to back it up. Even the 1.6 Sport Ka only reaches 60 in 9.7 seconds.
For those reasons i feel your review is flawed, i know this because my occupation is within the motor vehical testing industry, and on every one of our tests with the ford ka, sub 10 seconds was not possible, and belive me we use very very skilled drivers to test cars for official specs.
So just a fore warning for those of you reading this review and believing you may be looking at a car capable of much more than it is. |
