Advantages: Compact
Disadvantages: Space is seriously limited
I had always been used to small cars until I had a family. I'm a steriotypical girl and could only drive small cars.
The Ford Ka is definatley a small car but with personality. I loved my little Ka and was really reluctant to part exchange it but we needed a larger car. I missed the Ka for months and I don't pine after cars.
My Ka was a standard Ka having 3 doors and a 5 speed manual gear box. It was a 1.3ltr which was seriously nippy! Because the car is so small it's quite lightweight which means that you can make it go faster. I regulary did over 90 in mine (oops). Parking is very easy, even reverse parking! Mine had central locking by the key and an inbuilt imobiliser. The standard fit sterio was of reasonable quality.
Space in the car is limited obviously. It has a tea bag sized glove box built into the dashboard and two pockets in the back where passengers arms rest by the windows (these hold quite a bit). The boot is really small. I'll always remember that we went shopping for a new microwave and we had to wriggle it round in the boot to make it fit!
The Ka is a brilliant little car and I would seriously recommend it if it suits your needs.
Summary: Fast & economical
