Ah - lovely, cuddly Ka! As my very first car it obviously holds a special little place in my heart; but at 4 years old and still going strong, there's now more to it than that. I've got the most basic, bog-standard model: But what more do you need than that? I love the fact that this car is so 'honest' - it doesn't make any false claims, it's not trying to be hip and it just does what it says on the tin - gets you from a to b with the least possible hassle. It's really nice and nippy, handles corners at speed absolutely brilliantly, and generally, it's fabulously reliable. I've done 55000 miles in mine in 4 years, including lots of motorway driving, and it's only just needed serious money spending on it - brake pads, wishbones and the like - about £400 including the cost of the MOT. And considering I've hammered the poor darling, I think that's pretty darn good! It's reasonably quiet at high speeds, the basic speakers give you a good sound from the radio, all the bits and pieces in the car feel fairly sturdy and solid and it's quite easy to change the rear lights. Just watch our for when you headlight bulb goes, because you need the hands of a 4-year-old to change it!

Summary: I love my KA. I will drive her til she dies, and I don't think that'll be for a LONG time
