Advantages: Small & not too expensive

Disadvantages: Sluggish & very basic

After owning a couple of fords in the past i thought id give the ka a go with being a woman who cant park particularly well and thought a car of this size i wouldnt be able to go wrong. For that reason this car is perfect you can pretty much park it anywhere but as ford go this is about as basic as you can get. As with other fords you can get different specs but to me even the highest spec of the ka still feels a pretty basic poor mans car. I had the 1.2 version and felt it did 0-60 miles in about 10 minutes. It had no go in it whatsoever which is in complete contrast to the 1.2 fiesta. The boot space is pretty non existant and you would struggle to get more than two young children comfortably in the back of this car. Interior is pretty basic and looks cheap too. The cd player supplied is just the basic ford model though is good enough to do the job. The higher spec models come with elec windows, heated screens, central locking and power steering though you wont get all this on the basic models. If your looking for a nippy small car this really isnt what your after and i was quite disappointed. More suited to the older generation in my opinion.
