Advantages: Good to drive, Economical

Disadvantages: Slightly small boot

I own a Ford KA that was a present from my dad for my 18th birthday. that was almost 2 years ago and I have to say that it has been a great car to me. The car was second hand when i got it (although it is still only 3 and a half years old)but is certainly doing me proud - sailing through it's first MOT test. I'm not very mechanically minded so it's very lucky that i've never had any problems with it (well except a flat battery when i left the interior light on but we wont go into that!). As for the driving and the way it handles - well it got me through my driving test, need I say more? Seriously though, I find the acceleration fantastic because it's small and light it just seems to nip away from the junctions. the clutch control is fab making hill starts no problem and unlike my driving instructers car 5th gear is no problem to get into! i found the brakes a bit different from other cars i've driven, but not necessarily different in a bad way! My only grievance with my KA is that i don't have power steering so sometimes parking is hard work. I understand though that all new KAs have power steering as stanard so that eliminates that problem! Its a pretty economical car too - i think it does about 300 miles to a tank - less than £30 worth.
Looks wise the Ford KA is not everyone's cup of tea - I personally think it looks quite girlie but it's quirky features are cute. there are plenty of colours to choose from and the choice of same coloured bumpers. the interior is sleek in fitting with the exterior curves. the air vents are pretty unique in their circular shape, as the radio/cassette player. I have to confess to actually fitting a CD player in mine but it fits in just as well.
People worry about the space in the car. true the boot is a little small if you were going on holiday as a family but both back seats can be pushed down to create more space. in the sense of passangers it's actually the same size
inside as Ford Fiesta so there's surprsingly more leg room than you'd expect and all the seats are incredibly comfy. It's worth remember that it's only a car for 4 people max as there's no middle seat - but this means the back seats are moulded better and therefore more pleasant to sit in on long drives.
All in all? An excellent car!

Interesting opinion. Try adding some spacing between paragraphs to make it easier to read.

Glad that you are happy with your ka. There are better cars now available in the price range - the Yaris and the Clio certainly stand out.

Glad you're happy with your Ka. A friend of mine has one and thinks its great but I find the windscreen feels a bit claustrophobic when I'm in the front seat. Oh well each to his own eh? Susan
