The Ford KA. My first car and second. Today I'm going to review my second, the shape that is available currently from the dealers and the one I owned up until recently for around 3 years. As I was getting a new car, I bought their Zetec model which at the time was the model with the most features on. The list price of the car was close ...  Read the complete review

I had a 1997 Ford Ka as my first ever car arond 3 years ago and it never failed me. The stirring was very easy and powerful. Minimal effort was required considering it was an old car. The brakes and accelerator worked perfectly and it was as though I was driving a modern car. The only problems I encountered were ...  Read the complete review

If you are a nervous or brand new driver then this is the car for you! After a few bad accidents, it is easy to become a little nervous and start to question your abilities as a driver and if that is the case for you, then I could not recommend a Ford KA highly enough. Its easy to handle controls, effective steering and clunk-free ...  Read the complete review

I had the two year itch, my Punto had done me proud but I was looking at the number plates and feeling deflated that my car was now 7 years old. It was 2008 and my Punto was a fantastic car, passed every mot and had only needed a new bulb but my 20 year old head wanted a newer car, it goves an impression of money (or so I ...  Read the complete review

I had a 1.3 ka before upgrading to the 1.6 StreetKA, i can honestly say i miss my old one! It was my first car and loved it. YEs they are pretty basic, mine was a 2000 model and didnt have air con, electric windows or central locking.. didnt even have a cd player. But they are so easy to drive, surpisingly quite spacious and cute to look ...  Read the complete review

When my Focus packed in, I was forced into a small garage with my tail in between my legs asking for a cheap car on finance. I've had my little KA a year now, and I've not looked back. My KA is reliable, cheap to run and and not too expensive on repairs. I have a very very standard 54 plate 1.3 KA. I have to start by saying that this car ...  Read the complete review

Before I passed my driving test four years ago, I was determined to buy myself a little Ka. I wanted metallic blue with matching bumpers thank you very much, and was hardly concerned about the car itself other than that it was a pretty colour and looked like a little bubble. It was my Dad who demanded that I buy a car with ...  Read the complete review

For two years I've been the proud owner of a 2001 mint green Ka. Mine is the most basic model with no central locking, air conditioning or electric windows and only a tape player with just 3 radio station presets for entertainment- although all these things are inconvenient I see it as a fair sacrifice for a cheap car. And the Ka is ...  Read the complete review

Ford Ka in general: Ford KA a good little runner (223 words)

I had an old shape Ford KA 'T' registration for a number of years and it was a super little car, a little basic on the inside and could make a bit of a rattle but it served me perfectly for zooming back and forth up the A3 in to London for university. The only reason I sold it was to upgrade to the new shape and buy my first new car. The ...  Read the complete review

this is a great first car, small, smart and easy to park. however after awhile you do feel you need something with a little bit more enthusiasm. they do take awhile to get from 0-60 and do feel quite sluggish on dualcarriageways compared to other cars. they have alot of space inside for such a small car and very comfortable to drive and ...  Read the complete review

My Y plate (2001) Ford Ka was my first car, and I have now had it for four years and it is still going strong even at 10 plus years of age! Ford Ka's are extremely economical and I tend to get approx 45 miles to the gallon or 280-300 on a full tank. They are also a low insurance group (group one) which also makes them ideal as a first ...  Read the complete review

Great little run around (156 words)

My parent brought me my first car when i passed my driving test. The car was a ford KA. It was a great little run around. As it was a small car it was easy to park a manurve around roads, and bends. The only downside i had with the KA was the size of the boot. As a first car it was good, but as i got older and needed more stuff the boot ...  Read the complete review

This little car is very cute, small and easy to use. I learnt to drive in this car and it was a comfortable experience and easy to learn the moves needed to persuade your driving examiner that you are safe to be let loose on the roads! As it is a small car, it is very fuel efficient. The small body means that it can be parked in the ...  Read the complete review

I had a Ford Ka a couple of years ago, it was a great first car for a learner or a newly passed driver, it is very small and compact which is great for driving and parking; especially where I live there are a lot of small country lanes and limited parking! I brought my car second hand which after looking around I saw you could get them ...  Read the complete review

I bought my little red ka just over two years ago and she is still going strong. It was love at first sight, it was just so tiny and cute, a perfect fit for me. It is a very unique type of car and I was surprised by how spacious and roomy the front of the car was on the inside. I bought a 2001 car with a 1.2 engine which ...  Read the complete review

Great entry level car which is cheap to run and on repairs. Great value car for new drivers you can usually pick a KA classic up at a reasonable price and the insurance for new drivers is reasonable also. The main things to go are the suspension rings/cogs I think they are called apart from that its the usual ...  Read the complete review

I had a ford KA X reg for my first car and there is nothing I can say to fault it as a first car. I had the full on black bumpers, which protected me against the almost inevitable bumps you may have as a learner and a new driver. It's such a tiny nippy little car and such a beauty to drive. The car handles extremely well and has a ...  Read the complete review
