Ive just sold my ka which i owned for just over a year, but it was no girly ka. Being young and a bit of a boy racer i modded my Ka out to the max! Why? well it wasnt a normal car that everyone drives thats why! My ka was smooth it gripped better than any car except the odd kit car. It was fast as it was Turbo'd, it looked sweet as it had great ... Read the complete review

This was my first car which I'll be replacing tomorrow. It was ideal to learn in, with the good visibility making it like driving in a goldfish bowl (in a good way!). For a small car the engine is actually quite big, which combined with its low weight makes the Ka very nippy. Despite this however the car struggles to get to high speeds, ... It was a nice sunny day early in May when I found my self standing on the forecourt of a ford dealer surrounded by cars of all models and sizes, I was quite sure It was going to be either the Ford Ka or the Ford Fiesta. I am still learning to drive at the moment, something I?ve often thought of doing but never really got around to but ... Read the complete review

I bought my silver KA when it was six month old - it had been a ford demo car and had only done 6K miles. The first two or three years of ownership were pretty trouble free but be warned after this time thing start to go wrong. The first problem has been the body work - i noticed slight blisters in the paint work, when i scratched at the ... Read the complete review

I have been the owner of a ford Ka2 for around 11 months now. Overall it's a great little car and I have had no reliability issues even with the car having already travelled 30,000km's of high speed country driving. Australian driving conditions are tough, rough roads with extremes in weather. Driver comfort is excellent, plenty of ... Read the complete review

When my old car finally conked I had no choice but to find something new. By chance, my local Ford Dealership were doing a special deal on a used Ka, so I went along to have a look. I ended up buying the particular Ka as it has low mileage, one owner and was only 12 months old, and more importantly it was cheap. My view was that if it ... Read the complete review

~ ~ The hire car I booked for our recent family trip to Rome was the new model Fiat Punto. But I wasn’t too perturbed when the car hire company offered me a Ford Ka instead. I’d been intending to have a drive in a wee Ka for ages, and was supposed to have one booked on a short trip to Scotland last year, but on that occasion the hire ... Read the complete review

Just thought I had to put the record straight... I read so many good reviews of this car, that I thought I would pass on my not so enjoyable experiences of owning a Ford Ka. At the time of writing I am finally getting rid of the car, and I am very happy to see the back of it! I bought the car, from new, four years ago from my local Ford ... Read the complete review

The KA SUCKS ! ! ! ! My mother has a Ford KA model '97. km 63.000. The first few years it was a great car BUT.......... First it had RUSTproblems. Then the braking fluid was leaking. Now the camshaft is broken and this will cost about 1200£ to fix. If not: bye bye engine!!!!! Ford admit that many KA ... Read the complete review

When the Ford Ka first came out, I thought it was one of the ugliest cars I'd ever seen. It was those big grey/black bumpers that put me off. Ee-ew! BUT.... Ford have introduced body coloured bumpers and , boy, what a difference they make. Add in the electric windows, CD player, power steering, air bag, central locking and immobiliser. ... Sometimes you get a broken heart; we've all had one at sometime. On 12/09/02 my heart was broken wide open. I had a thirteen year old black VW Golf GTI series 2 eight valve with alloy wheels and a damned good shine. This car was stock, no fancy modifications. My car was old, but strong and still able to hold her head up. Well cared ... Read the complete review

I had always wanted a Ka since their launch. In 1998 I was lucky enough to have the resources to puchase my "dream car". I purchased a P Reg used car from Bristol Street Motors. It had just over 10,000 miles on the clock. I loved my Ka. I whizzed around. It was my pride and joy! 18 months after purchasing the car I drove to Scarborough. ... Read the complete review

Recently had a Ford Ka as a courtesy car while my under-rated, very reliable and nippy 1.6 Megane hatch was in being repaired (some bozo bashed it in a car park). The Ka was the basic one with black bumpers. It was a hoot, once wound up it was very pokey. It handled brilliantly. As I've said elsewhere though-how come Ford get away ... Read the complete review

Various opinions abound concerning the Ford Ka, usually the economy associated with owning such a small motor. My previous car was a Ford Ka 2, which I traded in for a Ford Ka 3 (2000 W plate) and whilst I agree that the economy aspect makes it refreshing to drive, there are several mechanical problems which I have encountered on both of my Ka ...
