Advantages: Stylish and Comfortable

Disadvantages: Not worth the extra £1500-£2000

Like the other reviewer of the luxury ka, I also have a little blue Street Ka. Although it is a different shape on the outside, the interior is the same as the luxury Ka (minus the two back seats). I bought mine back in Feb 09, and it is my first ever car (I passed my test the day before) so unfortunately I have nothing to compare it to.

However, I must say that this car is absolutely fantastic to drive - made by Pininfarina who also make Ferraris! The only thing I would say is that apparently the suspension springs are prone to snapping in both the Ka and the Street Ka. My car is an 03 reg, and in August I had to have them both replaced because one snapped, at a cost of £200. Although saying that, all cars of that age need odd bits doing to them so I guess it's hit and miss which makes/models are prone to which part breaking more often. Just wanted to mention it because the man who fixed mine told me it was pretty common!

On the plus side, the interior is comfortable, and looks stylish with the slick black leather. The seats are also heated which is a bonus in the colder months. Being a convertible (soft top) you would expect it to be a little chilly, which it is when you first get in but the heating system soon kicks in!

All in all, it is a fantastic car to drive, and is comfortable and stylish. Also, there doesn't seem to be any price difference between the luxury model and regular model when buying second hand, although luxury was originally an extra at around £1500-£2000. The Street Ka was only produced until 2006 though so anyone who wants one would have to buy second hand anyway!
