Advantages: They are spoty and look nice.

Disadvantages: They have unstable rearends.

My husband purchased a new 2000 For Mustang. with in several weeks he started hearing a noise coming from the back end of the car. We thought it might be a wheel problems. He took it into the shop for repairs. The service department where he bought the car told us it was the pinion gear. The fixed the car. At least we thought they did. When the noise was still there we were told that we needed to drive the car for 500 miles to break in the new parts. I thought this strange because a new car does not have 500 miles on it when you buy it. However we did. The noise did not go away. We put the car back into the shop and they changed some oil in the back end to a synthetic oil, again they told us drive it 500 mile. We then put it back. THis time they had to order new parts. They were suppose to be in in a week. When we called to see if they were in they asked us to bring the car in after the holidays at christmas because they were to busy. They car went in the shop again. THis time the parts were on national back order. This peaked my interest. They were telling us they did not have this problem before but yet these parts are on national back order. Occording to the Florida law at this point we had a lemmon law case. They tried to sell us a new mustang. We refused because we bought one car and we are not buying a second car. We saved every offer they gave us and wrote to Tallahassee to start the lemmon law. We sent all supporting documents. Copies of all service records and offers. We then reported them to the better business bureau. After weeks of going back and forth they finally agreed to put us into a new truck. The sites I check out were autobyer, bluebook,and several others I don't remember because this has been months ago. However I will be able to find those sites. And did maintain all records and letters, etc.
