I have to say that as cars go, the Honda Accord is up there in terms of quality, what lets the side down is the aftersales, my experience of customer care at my local dealership in Lowestoft who supplied me with the car leaves a lot to be desired, personally I have decided that I will not consider buying Honda again due to the severe lack of customer care, Honda UK weren't much better either, I had a lot of problems getting them to do anything when I was having problems with my accord. Getting back to the Accord though, mine is a 2000 (X) 1.8i VTEC automatic, it has that clever sequential 4 speed semiautomatic gearbox but can be driven as a fully automatic in either ...

Whilst its probably fair to say that the Honda Accord isnt the first name to go on most buyers shortlists when thinking about a mid-range family saloon,the latest round of price cuts and improvements to the car could well go some way to changing that.The Accord has,more than any other model,finally laid to rest the image of Honda being a small car specialist. I returned from holiday and faced a mountain of mail. Amongst the usual collection of bills and junk mail was an envelope from the Daily Telegraph with a pleasant surprise in it.
