Advantages: Good safety features, lot of goodies fitted as standard, decent looking wheel trims

Disadvantages: low torque engines, bland styling, cramped and narrow cabin, poor road holding, tendency to eat front tyres

Since purchasing a Accord hatchback in 1998 due to only option on company car list which was suitable, boredom has struck. Don't get me wrong it has been reliable and is exceptionally quiet. However a low torque engine, poor road holding, cramped seating, boring styling, higher than advertised fuel consumption and a tendency to eat front tyres (a characteristic to VTECH powered Honda's) make it a lot less tempting offer. Driving this car for more than an hour is almost guarnteed to give me cramp and/or back ache. Once I got cramp in my right foot whilst driving along almost causing an accident for myself. I have never had this problem in any other car before or since.

The car looks bland, drives blandly and is bland - end of story really.

If you just want a car to get you from a to b in relative comfort then the Accord is ok but if you want even a slightly interesting drive go elsewhere!

hi and welcome to dooyoo. sorry about the SU rating but you need to write more than this to get the higher ratings - tough category to choose to start with though - try speaker's corner, much easier :o)
