Why is it that Civics are labelled cars for old people, but the equivalent Rover 400 or 45 is not seen that way? I don't know, but I think it's daft. After all, my Civic was a paragon of reliability and several friends' 400s suffered problem after problem. Mind you, at 23 I probably lowered the average owners' age by 20 years! I bought the car from the local Honda agent in November 2000, when it was two-and-a-half years old. I got a good deal due to a contact who informed me this particular car had sat on the forecourt for three months, and after this time could only be sold to the trade.
