Honda Accord Type-R:
... DooYoo) the Leon Cupra R and two of the Accord Type R's. As you may note there is a great time difference between the reviews due to a short spell of unemployment (obviously stopping me from being in the market for a new car). I will try to compare between the two Honda's and then sum up between the two makes at the end. The first Accord I took out was a 2000 model in black. First impresions about the ca... Honda HR-V 1.6 VTEC 5dr ... bought a used 2001 HR-V VTEC Five Door in November 2002 - I love it. The VTEC engine works hard, revs high, and responds very quickly. You need to "drive" it - use the gears and don't be frightened of thrashing it - it's happy up to 7,000 rpm - it's the top end power that lets you pull away and overtake in the hills. I drive across the Pennines in North Yorkshire/Lancs several times a week. I feel prepared for the bad weather - and the 4WD "when you need it" is just what I need - it was one of the reasons I bought the car. The steering is direct with plenty of feedback. You feel in touch with the road and pulling out of trouble i... Read the full review: Great car by barstep |

Honda Civic (1995 on) in general ... bought my Civic VTI in July 2002. My previous car was a peugeot 106 (R reg) and I must admit I did love the little thing but the day I saw my civic I fell in love with it. I have always had a thing about Civics and previously had one (1.5vtech, R Reg) with my x boyfriend. I could not believe my luck when I came upon a VTI and just had to test drive it there and then. My car has so many extras on it, some things you dont even realise are on a car like colour coded door handles!!!! I have been driving it for about 6 months now and love the sound of the engine especially on acceleration mainly in 1st & 2nd!! Even my son (3yrs old) keeps asking me to turn the ster... Honda HR-V 1.6 VTEC 4WD 3dr ... you out of light snow and mud. If you want an offroader buy a disco, our main vehicle. However we have two children, one whoi is 14 and 5' 9" and fits in the back with no trouble and states this is one of the most comfortable cars he has been in, including a Freelander. My wife likes it as it is a good shopping trolley. My personnel opion is that it is one of the best kept secrets from Honda. It combines an estate car with off road capability for most people who just want a car when the road or field conditions get a bit sticky. It has all the Honda toys and their split four wheel drive system is the same as the CRV. The tyres are a bit naff as they are high pe... Read the full review: HRV soft roader by beastsilver |
